The pay you receive is based on a daily rate calculated on the basis of your rank and seniority. Promotions are awarded on the basis of individual merit and qualifications. You will thus have an opportunity to move up to positions of increasing responsibility, while your salary increases accordingly. 

The Reserve is primarily an organization whose members work on a part-time basis. Depending on their qualifications and availability, however, members of the unit may be offered full-time employment for a specified period.
