Veterans team
Welcome to the Équipe CIOR Canada Team Web site.
Our athletes did very well this year in Bulgaria, bringing back not least than 10
medals.
Actually, the veterans team, made up of Lt Francis Fillion, Slt(N) Devin Harper
and Lt Julien Bouchard-Bourdeau, won the gold medal for the obstacles day: 1st
for the land obstacles course and 1st for the aquatic obstacles course in
competition with 42 other teams from 17 countries.
Our female team, made up of Capt Antonia Stanojevic, Capt Kimberley Ficke and Lt
Lesley Quinlan, made it second on 6 female teams for the whole competition and
won gold for the Law of Armed Conflicts test.
Finally, 2Lt Cheng “Ethan” Peng, member of an international team, won the gold
medal against 4 other teams made up of substitutes from participant countries.
Our next training camp will start on June 20th 2010 at Farnham Garrison in order
to prepare for the Stavanger/Norway competition from 10 to 14th August 2010.
